:) happy weekend everyone.

I have been really inspired by anything asian this week. Stitching and painting and new fabric. yum. Sundays are for chai and creativity. I am all over the place today. :)

We are heading down to St. George for a wedding. We are going for the whole weekend. i am so excited! Maybe i'll get some good pics this time:) Oh Road Trips are SO fun with a full car of little children!

It feels good to be back.

Just got back from Europe. We were there for 3 weeks. It felt too long for me to be away from part of my family! (We had some extended family business) It feels good to be blogging again as well.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA!!!

My adorable Grandpa turned 59 today. We went to go hang out with them this afternoon. Chatted, watched little boys teeter over the edge of the pond and eat treats. Their yard is such a fun place for discovering natures curiosities. I love nature photos. It is a small yard, but i could be there for hours, content in experimenting and exploring. It is filled to the brim with beauty. They gave us some strawberry starters for our yard this summer and we got a little craving and dipped some from Costco. :]:]


We cooked up our bi-annual dose of Roasted Garlic today. I think our house is going to smell delicious for a while. :] No one could handle how overpowering the smell was so we were outside pretty much the whole day. ha ha.

Spent some of the Easter weekend with the awesome ... family. Had a relaxed Easter, no eggs, no candy baskets. Mom is ready to pop and i chopped off my hair... Well I didn't do it, my mom should work in a salon. i am lucky to have a hairstylist for life:] that is happy.

I look outside my bedroom window and look down, seeing nature blooming below me. It is invigorating to see colorful curiosities after all that white. I also love playing hide and go seek with little boys...

It has been a peaceful week. I got tons off my shoulders and i feel so content... (well the rain DID help a bit) I love this weather. Chill on your face, sun in your hair. So many curious things in nature to explore. AND playing with my new homemade textures. I AM ADDICTED!!! Working hard, and dancing hard this weekend!

Can't think of anything to say, but go to all her links cause she is a rock star... her husband is the most phenomenal photographer i have ever seen--that is an understatement. wow. that was last night and my heart is still thumping fast... Our studio is almost done... we (i) moved desks, shelves, and carpets today. photos kind of soon sweet peas!

As most all of you know...

Our sweet prophet President Hinkley has died. I felt so terrible after i heard the news (with friends via txt message) but after a couple minutes i realized (like all of us i am sure)how happy he was now. So mixe emotions that night. WE went to his funeral and waited all day, and durring that time i had some time to reflect upon myself. I thought 2007 was such a learning year for me. I feli like i had grown so much--and i did. But 2008 has suprised me. While waiting in line i saw this cute hispanic man reading his Book of Mormon. this touched my heart.

my life...

has been moving at SUCH a fast pace that i am beginning to get unorganized. My head is spinning, i am tired. Many things are changing around me that have such a profound effect on how i look at life. Always moving--doing SOMETHING. The more i do, the more there is to do. I needed a short break, so i pulled myself away from my "life" and drove down to Temple square. It felt so good to finally just breathe. and think. alone. in the quiet. I got inspired... and i am ready for another day.

i love all the awesome shots winter offers, and the free "glow" from the snow... you can't get that in the summer but it is just getting a teensy bit DONE for me.

This is one thing i thought i would never get. not in a million years. This is Nam. he is up there on my favorites list. He has the most unique sense of humor ever. the more ya know em the more ya love em ya know.

This is my favorite of the night. This kid is SO cool. i hate that word, but he really is awesome. I never see him so it was fun to exchange our well thought out dance moves. It takes skill ya know, to do what we do:)

and yes, i probably spelled that wrong too. It was my good friend Nina's Quince on Saturday. We had so much fun mingling over dinner, and then breaking it out and going totally crazy at the dance that followed. We are all pretty good dancers and we aren't afraid to show it! ( a bit of sarcasm there:) well of course i had sugar cube (my cam for those of you that didn't know) there and i was also commissioned to do a video. So there i am juggling cameras and trying to dance at the same time. Looking back on the videos i took it looks like an old lady did them. lol It was so refreshing to see all of my awesome buddies that i have not really seen since summer! So here are the photos, rolled out on a red carpet:)
