Can't think of anything to say, but go to all her links cause she is a rock star... her husband is the most phenomenal photographer i have ever seen--that is an understatement. wow. that was last night and my heart is still thumping fast... Our studio is almost done... we (i) moved desks, shelves, and carpets today. photos kind of soon sweet peas!

As most all of you know...

Our sweet prophet President Hinkley has died. I felt so terrible after i heard the news (with friends via txt message) but after a couple minutes i realized (like all of us i am sure)how happy he was now. So mixe emotions that night. WE went to his funeral and waited all day, and durring that time i had some time to reflect upon myself. I thought 2007 was such a learning year for me. I feli like i had grown so much--and i did. But 2008 has suprised me. While waiting in line i saw this cute hispanic man reading his Book of Mormon. this touched my heart.

my life...

has been moving at SUCH a fast pace that i am beginning to get unorganized. My head is spinning, i am tired. Many things are changing around me that have such a profound effect on how i look at life. Always moving--doing SOMETHING. The more i do, the more there is to do. I needed a short break, so i pulled myself away from my "life" and drove down to Temple square. It felt so good to finally just breathe. and think. alone. in the quiet. I got inspired... and i am ready for another day.

i love all the awesome shots winter offers, and the free "glow" from the snow... you can't get that in the summer but it is just getting a teensy bit DONE for me.

This is one thing i thought i would never get. not in a million years. This is Nam. he is up there on my favorites list. He has the most unique sense of humor ever. the more ya know em the more ya love em ya know.

This is my favorite of the night. This kid is SO cool. i hate that word, but he really is awesome. I never see him so it was fun to exchange our well thought out dance moves. It takes skill ya know, to do what we do:)

and yes, i probably spelled that wrong too. It was my good friend Nina's Quince on Saturday. We had so much fun mingling over dinner, and then breaking it out and going totally crazy at the dance that followed. We are all pretty good dancers and we aren't afraid to show it! ( a bit of sarcasm there:) well of course i had sugar cube (my cam for those of you that didn't know) there and i was also commissioned to do a video. So there i am juggling cameras and trying to dance at the same time. Looking back on the videos i took it looks like an old lady did them. lol It was so refreshing to see all of my awesome buddies that i have not really seen since summer! So here are the photos, rolled out on a red carpet:)

Up too early, but i have a butt-load to do so it is all good... school, mop, vacuum room, call Rachel, give Nina a punch bowl, take a 365-(check), blog-(check), get dressed, go to Pink Door, Special Needs Mutual. I could go on and on, but i am running out of lunch break time. got to go. :]

Had a fun weekend... "Brighton Idol" was on Friday and i went to see my friends in their band. They did such a super job and i had a blast. They put on quite the show! This is my friend Carter. He has a shiny Cherry red guitar- my fav! ... hope he doesn't have a problem with me posting this! :P Happy weekend everyone.

i am embarking...

on the seemingly impossible infamous SP365. But i am doing it differently. i am taking EVERY SP that i have EVER taken and scrap them to see how i have grown as a photographer. I am excited and a bit nervous. what a great challenge with infinite possibilities! so yes. you will be seeing lots of me. mostly on Flickr. (check it out sometime. i can not tell you how much i ADORE flickr!!!)

I feel so grateful and blessed to have such a strong and supportive family surrounding me. I have watched us as we come into different seasons of our lives, making and learning from decisions, overcoming great obstacles and growing in knowledge and experience both as individuals and together as a family. It has been a fun and exciting week. I have been dying to see people from outside the state, coming home from missions and the rest of us come together and share some memories together as a family. I have authentically enjoyed getting to know so many members of the family that i have not been "really close" to over the years. I have made so many new memories that i will cherish forever. I have learned so many new things and am so thankful that i have gotten to know them-- i have learned from them. They are such a warm and power full example of love and strength to me. Here are few photos of the time we had together.

These make me laugh. We all look pretty worn out:) Last night we all went to a dance and partied:) It was so much fun to see everyone again and just hang out and share all our new "cool" dance moves:) It is always fun to see the pictures i get back after all my friends steal my camera:) I love these guys. They make me happy!

Can't you just feel it? It is deliciously heavy and black. It makes that noise when you take a picture that gives you chills... (good chills:) and when you gaze into the perfect and colorful lens you can see the vivid and professional explosion of color and inspiration waiting to be captured. The zoom absolutely delights me. It is fun to just sit and look at:)-- that is all it takes to make me happy. it is my love:)

The first one you have seen before. That is Mieka. (photo taken by her dad) And the second one is of Jonathan and Allison my Aunt and Uncle. They moved to West Virginia last year and haven't seen them since. It was so refreshing to see them again! We had a great family Christmas party Christmas Eve. It is always fun to get together.
