
K so here's what happened. Brandon, ( my uncle) just came down from Napa Valley in California. He was one of the Pastry Chef for the French Laundry, so he knows his stuff. SO he brought all his "toys" and we cooked ALL night. WE made this Apple Tart out of the French Laundry Cookbook, and it turned out AWESOME!!! We put the Carmel at the bottom of the pan, then let the apples absorb the deliciousness, then put the crust on, cooked it all up like a pie, then he flipped it out onto a pan. then drizzled vanilla sauce on the plate, it was gorgeous, and like the best thing i have ever had!!!!! So we loved that. It was so good to see him. *LOVE* that boy!!!
