Today was Super Hero Day at Albion... So me and my mom made up this WICKED Cute little costume that blew everyones minds away. LOVE it. from the Glasses right down to the boots;) k. so we had a polka dot hair tie, Cherry red Sun Glasses, and you can't forget the Gloves!!! ( my mom calls them "spanking gloves.. cause they are!! lol) Eelsatigirl Attire, and Red Shiny sassy boots. Laught out loud! everyone loved them, EVERYONE WANTED them!!! lol SOOOOOO funny. and yes, i tripped... ( or was i tripped? Lindsay? busted) in the middle of class. flat. we laughed so hard we were all crying... we still are. *gracefull!* I think it is SO fun to dress up like this. I need to do i tmore often!!! So, tomorow is Beach day, I guess we'll see what we pul off then!! more soon, -leighs (smack!)

Sundays...

Sundays are my big scrappin days. because after 9:00 church, we have ALL day for whatever. So, i am working on this bright colored quirky owl. i am painting her on a wooden board, ( i hope that i can finish it soon so you all can see how CUTE she is!!!) her name is Olivia... the owl ( ohhh!!!) so sweet. I'll try to finish her up!!! are you excited for Monday yet?!! (lol) -e.

but i am working on it!!! WOW. February flew by like a snap!!! (didn't it?!) I swear, it was only like a week. We were SUPER busy, parties, people to see, places to go, yada yada yada. But now March is here. And we are still running around just like before!!! People ALWAYS tell me. "You have the SAME amount of time as everyone else!!! so be wise with it" lol. WE are tryin! But i managed to make this little cutie, i decided that in my art, i am going to pay attention to Detail. I have been so inspired by the work of some of the Scrapbookers lately. The detail that goes into every little page is amazing. they make them theirs. SO i am going to start trying to make all my art MINE. have a *happy* day!! -leighs

We find the old cigarette candy sticks, so my mom was just SO set on these being her Valentine this year. so they get it in a little clear bag, with this card, and a "smoke" for their Valentines day!!! i am really excited...

to scrap this weekend!!! This past month, has been *so* ridiculously busy, that i have had no time to do anything artsy and fun. WE are going to clean up the studio, then scrap our hearts out! I have been so excited to tattoo some more things with our wool. ( We call it tattooing, but it is a jagged needle that you poke into like colored cotton balls and shape it, and work with it, till it turns into something like this. it kinda turns it into felt) i LOVE this tomato bow tie i made for Valentines day. maybe i will make some more cutie stuff, and show it tomorrow... or tonight!!! have a great weekend!!! luvs, -leighs.

this was SO yummy. Brandon made a cake for Chelsea's Birthday. it was so *fancy*!! lol. so we got some good photos of it for him. It was SO rich. it took all of us like 30 minutes to eat that tiny slice!!! so interesting and beautiful. The attention they pay to detail it really incredible. He is amazing. happy Sabath!!! -e.

Yummy Treats!!!

K so here's what happened. Brandon, ( my uncle) just came down from Napa Valley in California. He was one of the Pastry Chef for the French Laundry, so he knows his stuff. SO he brought all his "toys" and we cooked ALL night. WE made this Apple Tart out of the French Laundry Cookbook, and it turned out AWESOME!!! We put the Carmel at the bottom of the pan, then let the apples absorb the deliciousness, then put the crust on, cooked it all up like a pie, then he flipped it out onto a pan. then drizzled vanilla sauce on the plate, it was gorgeous, and like the best thing i have ever had!!!!! So we loved that. It was so good to see him. *LOVE* that boy!!!
