Omaha Beach.

This was such a peacefull place. As we walked in, we heard The American Anthem, and other music. An overwhelming sensation of peace came over all of us, asd we gazed out into the Hundred's of White Crosses that lined the large field. We met this SWEET old man, his daughter, and her son from Utah. He was blinded in the War, and his story is amazing. one day, it was SO hot. his vest was full of Explosives, for emergencies. (you know. Grinades (sp?) etc.) it was so hot on that particular day, that he took off his vest, and placed it on the Tank that he was patrolling. There was another guy with him, and he also had Explosives in HIS vest. a minute or so later, the Tank Exploded. the other man patrolling with him was killed immediately but he survived. Doesn't that give you the chills?! That God has a plan for everyone. He was so sweet. it's a shame that i dod not get his name. it would be cool to go to back, and really talk to him. I want to take the time to thank all our Men and Women, protecting our Country, so we can have the things that we have. I am SO proud of each and everyone of them. Thank You. God Bless America. -e.
